Denise Ann Wright, 68, of Otego passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at home.

Denise was born on May 4, 1954 in Stamford, NY the daughter of the late James and Ruth (Epps) Wright, Sr.

Denise worked for many years as a Ward Clerk for Bassett Medical Center, Cooperstown and as a result knew so many people in the area. She enjoyed going to Jim's clambakes, music by Jim's band and going on trips.

Denise is survived by her loving family, brothers, James (Sandra) Wright of Walton; William (Brenda) Wright of Otego; Joseph (Amy) Wright of Burlington Flats; sisters, Janice Knight of Belmont, MA; Lisa (Scott Collins) Wright of Nashville, NC; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be held in the spring at a time and date to be announced. Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.

Memorial Contributions in Denise's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
