Dennis Campbell, 74, of Walton passed away early Friday morning, March 18, 2016 at Bassett Healthcare in Cooperstown, following a short illness.

Dennis was born on October 19, 1941 in Englewood, NJ, the son of the late Claude and Katherine (Potter) Campbell. He married the former Sandra Hessinger in 1963. Dennis worked for Breakstone's, Walton. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and going for his daily walks around Walton.

Dennis is survived by his loving family, his wife, Sandra; his children, Mike Campbell of Andes; Denise Winant of Syracuse; and Tom and Diana Campbell, Fleischmanns; grandchildren, Ryan, Chelsea and Bradley, great grandchildren, Ryan Jr. and Bailey, brother, Claude Campbell of Syracuse; sister, Claudia Geer of Florida; brother in law, Gary Hessinger, sister in law and brother in law, Pat and Roy Terney of Walton; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Arlene Geer and mary Thompson, mother and father-in-law, Ronald and Ethel Hessinger, and brother-in-law, Ronald Hessinger.

A graveside service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Walton Cemetery, Pastor Keith O'Brien officiating. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
