Diny was a member of the New Hope Community Church, a former long time member of the United Presbyterian Church, the Delhi Bird Club, American Kennel Club, Habitat for Humanity, Walton Little Theatre, Delaware River Stage Co., and a big Delaware County Fair supporter. Diny enjoyed her persona as a country woman. She bred and raised horses and dogs, and watching blue birds at her beloved Brookwood. She also loved singing in the church choir and on the various stages in the area. She also was a guiding force that erected the fountain at Walton Cemetery.
