Donald R. Finch, 48, of Walton passed away Saturday morning, February 27, 2010 at home, surrounded by his family.

Donnie was born on May 16, 1961 in Corning, NY; the son of the late Ralph Donald and Shirley (Crawford) Finch. He was employed by McDonald's, Walton, CADI in Delhi and at Papa's Diner, Walton.

Donnie enjoyed playing guitar, hunting, fishing and being with his grandkids.

Donnie is survived by his loving family: four sons: Donald Joseph Finch of Binghamton; Matthew Finch, Nate Finch, both of Walton; Travis Finch of Oxford, NY; 2 grandchildren; 3 sisters; Sherry Finch of Walton, NY, Juanita Finch of Cherry Valley, and Joanne Finch of Meridale; 3 brothers: Ralph Donald Finch of Meridale; Clifford (Nancy) Finch of Walton; Shawn Campfield of Walton; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special friends, Roger Butler, Jim Butler, Chuck Pike, Mike Miller and Ben and Emily Vandermark.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, March 6 at the First Baptist Church, 59 Townsend St., Walton, NY with Rev. Jay O'Connor officiating. Memorial contributions in Donnie's memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 5 Oak St., Sidney, NY 13838,
