Dorothy "Annabelle" Kilmer, 86, a longtime resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly after a long courageous battle with cancer on October 15, 2012 at the Mitchell House of Hospice and Palliative Center in Cheektowaga, NY.

Dorothy was born in Gilboa on November 2, 1925 the daughter of the late Hattie (Pearsol) and Dennis Bevins. On August 17, 1947 she married William C. Kilmer. He died on November 6, 2011.

Dorothy was a waitress and cook at Poor Richards. She was a member of the Pines Brook Baptist Church in Walton. She enjoyed reading romance novels, feeding the birds, taking care of her plants, and of course being everyone's mom.

Dorothy is survived by her loving family, her children, Patricia(Dave) Cieluszak of Tonawanda; Raymond (Mary) of Walton; Joan (Russell) Neale of Walton; Jean Gorga of Walton; Judy (Bert) Beardslee of Walton; Tim (Wendy) Kilmer of Walton; Laurie Kilmer of Buffalo; Tom Kilmer of Walton; her grandchildren, Mandy, Kellee, Margaret, Will, Crystal, Tiffany, Michael, Connie, Randy, Christopher, Rebecca, Timmy, Katrina, Nicholas, her 21 great grandchildren, her sister in law; Betty Johnston of Walton; her brother in laws, Roger (Paulette) Kilmer of Walton; Theodore (Murial) Kilmer of Gilboa; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, William Kilmer, her daughter, Catherine Lucille, her brothers and sisters, Grace Bevins, Leland Bevins, Etheridge "Eppie" Bevins, Raymond Bevins, Glenford Bevins, Linden "Penny" Bevins, Ronald "Phillie" Bevins, and Shirlon "Butchie" Bevins.

A Memorial service will be held on October 27, 2012 at 1:30PM at the New Hope Community Church with the Rev. Carl Butler, officiating.
