Dorothy A. McCormack, 78, of Walton passed away early Sunday morning, July 28, 2013 at Bridgewater Rehabilitation Center in Binghamton, NY.

Dorothy was born on February 3, 1935 in Bronx, the daughter of the late William and Catherine (Hogan) Lamphere. On April 7, 1956 she married Kevin McCormack. He predeceased her on March 5, 2002. She worked in Goshen for Orange County Social Services, for many years. In her spare time she was a Hospice Volunteer and an EMT for Monroe Ambulance Service.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Thomas (Geraldine) McCormack of Pine Bush; Eileen Wilson of Warwick; Kathleen (Ralph) Finnegan of Walton; Patricia McCormack of Newburgh; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Dennis, Anne, Ralph K, Matthew, her great grandchildren, Blaze, Slayton, Chad, Carson, Paige, Liam and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother Phillip.

Service will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
