Dorothy A. ReDavid, 84 of Trout Creek, NY, passed away unexpectedly Monday, May 18, 2009 in Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.

Dorothy was born in Long Island City, NY, on December 24, 1924 the daughter of the late Jacob and May (Spaulding) Owen. On May 5, 1945 she married Paul J. ReDavid Sr. He died on July 7, 1986. She was employed for many years at Sears Roebuck & Co., Massapequa Park

She was a faithful member of St. John the Baptist Church, Walton. Dorothy enjoyed reading and gardening.

Doroth is survived by three sons, Paul (Elaine) ReDavid of Walton, Glenn (Anna) ReDavid of Tennessee; Kenneth (Melanie) ReDavid of Bellmore, NY; 7 grandchildren, Kim, Paul, Glenn, Angela, Gina, Vincent, Adam, 1 great granddaughter, Brianna, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother Raymond Owen.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, May 23, 2009 from 5 to 7PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 10:00 am at Saint John The Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 17-25 Benton Avenue, Walton.

Interment will follow in Walton Cemetery.
