Dorothy F. Spry, 87, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 11, 2016 at home.

Dorothy was born June 23, 1929 in Preston, PA. the daughter of the late Sterling M. and Susie F. (Nichols) Stanton.

Dorothy enjoyed baking, especially making beautiful wedding cakes, going to craft shows, and collecting jewelry.

Dorothy is survived by her son, Harold Spry, Jr., nieces, Deana Stevenson of Hancock; Rosa Groat-Kays, Calicoon; special friends, Charles and Mary Ann Gombosi of Walton; Carolyn Choate; Carla Jean Morgan, Earl and Linda; and several cousins. She was predeceased by brothers and sisters, James, Melvin, Mary, Elizabeth, Mildred, and Jeanie May.

Services and burial will be held privately at Starrucca Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
