Douglas Milton Alger, 62, of Walton passed away on August 26, 2020.

Born on August 3, 1958 in Walton, he was the son of the late Milton and Laverna Alger.

Douglas enjoyed being outside and spent many years working as handyman and gardener in the family greenhouse. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Spending time with family and friends at his family's frequent weekend gatherings was one thing he cherished.

Survivors include his siblings, Pat Aitken, Mike Alger, Susan Stephens, David Alger, Mark Alger and Timmy Alger. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great niece, great-great nephew and several cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother-in-law, Jerry Aitken and nephew, Dereck Stephens.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Walton Cemetery with the Pastor Larry Light, officiating.
