Edmund Howes, 86 of Walton, passed away Wednesday evening, March 26, 2008 in his newly refurbished Walton Home.

Edmund was born on December 5, 1921 in New York City the son of the late Fred and Grace (Thompson) Howes. They moved to Walton when Edmund was 2 years old.

Edmund worked as a night watchman for Del-Met and S.J. Bailey's, Walton as well as a real estate salesman for his mother, Grace. Edmund enjoyed going to TA's Restaurant, spending time at the library, and his time with his cat, "Cuddles".

Edmund is survived by many cousins and many special friends, Elinor and Calvin Pritchard, Cadence Stanton, "Squeaky", Michelle Truman, Terri Green, Kateland Coons, Kelly McGuiness, Don Scofield, Dave Brown, and his special mail lady and care giver, Ellie Truman. He is also survived by all his home health care providers, Vicki, Mary Lou, April, Amber, Jessica, and Lynn.

A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on April 4, 2008 at Walton Cemetery with the Rev. Jennifer Matison Juliano, officiating. There are no calling hours.
