Eilene Flanagan passed away peacefully February 11, 2009 at Fox Hospital following a battle with cancer.

She was born July 25, 1952, in Walton, New York, the daughter of the late Robert and Pauline (Monahan) Flanagan.

Eilene worked at Catholic Charities, where she loved her fellow employees and the good works of the organization. She loved spending her free time with family and friends, working in her beautiful gardens and preparing gourmet meals.

She is survived by her husband, Jim Bell; her brother Patrick Flanagan and sister-in-law Carol Reisen of Takoma Park, Maryland; her sister Myrita Flanagan and brother-in law Nick Dunphy of New York City; her godparents Eugene and Leona Maritato; her stepdaughter Tiva and son-in-law Chris Constantopoulos of Lee, Massachusetts, her stepdaughter Beki Bell of Eustis, Florida; her stepdaughter Barbara Bell and son-in-law Saied Chaharom of Melrose, Massachusetts; grandchildren Arman, Ahnika, Panayiotis and Sarah; nieces Jane and Amy; nephew Robert; her dear lifelong friend Sally Cranston and numerous cousins.

A service celebrating Eilene's life will be held at Christ Church (Episcopal), 41 Gardiner Place, Walton at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009. A reception will follow at the Walton Fire Hall, 61 West Street.
