Eleanor L. Franks, 83, of Lower Loomis, Walton, passed away at Countryside Care Center, Delhi, on Wednesday evening, August 11, 2010.

She was born on October 29, 1926 at the family homestead in Loomis. The daughter of the late Floyd O. and Jennie (Puffer) Franks.

Eleanor like to listen to music and could often be found with a teddy bear or toy doll. She also enjoyed her trips to the Maple Leaf Center in Corbett.

She is survived by her sister: Pauline Lambrecht of Walton; a niece: Luanne (Leonard) Eldred of Walton; three nephews: Jason (Mary) Lambrecht, Mark (Connie) Lambrecht and Dale (Adrianna) Lambrecht all of Walton; and several cousins.

Besides her parents, She was predeceased by her half sister: Ruth Gifford; a brother-in-law: Anthony "Tony" Lambrecht; and a nephew: Wayne Lambrecht.

A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday afternoon, August 14, 2010 at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street., Walton, with the Rev. David Gatje officating. Friends and family are invited to call one hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Walton Cemetery.
