Eleanor Manfrede

Eleanor Manfrede 84 of Walton, passed away on Wednesday morning, November 25, 2009, following a long illness.

Eleanor was born in Liverpool, UK on January 5, 1925 the daughter of the late Thomas and Annie (Leather) McGiveny.

Eleanor is survived by 4 daughters, Thomasine (John) Loerbs, Woodhaven, Queens; Josephine Manfrede, Queens; Catherine "Cathy" (Daniel) Farrell, Walton; Annie Mahler, Gloversville, 2 sons, Robert Manfrede, Queens; Mark (Julie) Manfrede, Walton; brothers, John, Dennis, Mickey, sister, Josephine, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by 4 children, Barbara Kmiotek, James McGiveny, Francis Manfrede and Eleanor McGovern.,

Friends and relatives called on Sunday evening, November 29, 2009 from 6 to 8 PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton.

A Mass of Christian Burial was be held on Monday morning, November 30, 2009 at 11 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Walton, with the Rev. Matthew Frisoni, officiating. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 1 PM at St. Johns Cemetery, Woodhaven Queens.
