Ella G. Bowker, 93, of Walton passed away on Tuesday morning, April 4, 2017 at Fox Hospital Nursing Home, following a short illness.

Ella was born on January 1, 1924 in the Town of Colchester, the daughter of the late Neal and Margaret (Butler) Gray. On January 9, 1942 she married Glenn R. Bowker, Sr., he predeceased her on January 17, 1998.

Ella was a long time member of the United Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Business Professional Women's Club of Walton.

Ella loved spending time with her family, knitting, sewing, cooking, reading, tatting, and quilting.

Ella is survived by her loving family, her children, Betsey (Eric) Edwards of West Boylston, Mass, Barbara (John) Danylak of Northport FL, Linda Lalone of Constantia, NY; Lisa (Robert) Huyck of Treadwell, NY; grandchildren, Kenneth, Kevin, Kristopher (Patty), John Andrew, Matthew (Heather), Brett (Kelly), Kyle (Sonia), Glenn "Mike" (Michelle), Dale, Lindsay, Lynndon; great grandchildren, Misti, Samantha, Kate, George, Ella, Everett, Hannah, Quinn; great-great grandchild, Addison. A brother, Jack (Sally) Gray of Pharr, TX; daughter in law, Janice Bowker (Joe), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Glenn "Mike" Bowker, Jr., daughter, Sally; brothers, Richard and Carl, sisters, Ethel Gray and Rose Smith.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 2PM to 3PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where services will be at 3 PM with the Rev. Dr. Lisa Ruth Mays, officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery.
