Elmer E. Junge, 83 of Walton passed away at home Thursday January 20, 2005, after a long Illness

Mr. Junge was born in Queens, NY on July 8, 1921, the son of the late Gustav A. and Sarah Geiges Junge.

He married the former Helen Devenish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic Church in Brooklyn, NY on September 18, 1943.

He was a Pattern Cutter, employed by Ace Plastics, Jamaica,Queens

Elmer was often described as "such a sweet man". His great past time was paint by numbers, and he freely gave gifts of his talent to friends and family. His favorite painting was the "Last Supper". He also volunteered his time at home to his parish, St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Walton.

He is survived by two daughters: Eileen Esposito and her husband John of Walton, and Kathleen Peters and her husband Richard of Patchogue, LI; 6 grandchildren, 9 step-grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 17 step greatgrandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, and 1 step great grand child one brother: Wilbur Junge and his wife Virginia of Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, a cousin Rita Martin, of Oneonta, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.He was predeceased by his wife Helen in 1979, 2 sisters, Ann McAnaney, and Mae Ruppel, and 1 brother Harold Junge.

Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and on Monday at the Robertaccio Funeral Home Inc. 85 Medford Ave. Patchogue, NY from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM .

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church on Tuesday at 9:45 A.M. Burial will be in Pinelawn Cemetery.
