Emily Searles, 95 of Sidney, passed away early Tuesday morning in the The Hospital, Sidney, after a long illness.

Emily was born on August 2, 1909 in Albany, the daughter of Harry F. and Ella M. Babcock Searles. Emily loved to crochet, play board games, especially puzzles, watch television, which consisted of food shows and The Golden Girls, and celebrate holiday's. Emily had an endearing laugh and could see humor in almost all situations.

Emily was lovingly cared for by John and Elena Spinu and their family.

Friends are invited to a visitation at the Circle Drive Alliance Church, Sidney on Thursday, February 10, 2005 at 9:30 AM, where services will be held at 10:00 AM, with Rev. Robert Greenberg, officiating.

Services are under the direction of Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.

Burial will be in Paige Cemetery, Downsville in the spring.
