Ernest E "Joe" Johnson, Jr., 75, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Monday, May 30, 2022 at Delaware Valley Hospital in Walton, NY.

Joe, as he was affectionately known, was born on April 3, 1947 in West Jefferson, Ohio the son of the late Ernest E. and Ethel (Halley) Johnson Sr. On December 2, 2014 he married the former Linda Daniels.

Joe proudly served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps as an Auto Mechanic in North Carolina. He was a member of the Vet's Club in Arkville. He enjoyed tinkering and fixing things, doing puzzles, word searches, and playing with the rubik's cube.

Joe is survived by his loving family, his wife, Linda, daughters, Sabrina Adams of KS, Cassandra (Chris) Hillis of Delhi, Richard M Foster, Jr. of Walton, Lawrence Edward Foster of Walton, 13 grandchildren, special brother, Steve Curless of Stamford, sisters, Diane Kelly of Summit, Linda (John) Bryan of Meredith, Sandra (John) Bonton of Andes, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, daughter, Ella Johnson, sisters, Susan Goodin and Marilyn Gonzalez.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
