Esther L. Budine, 79, a life long resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly Friday afternoon, March 21, 2008 in Wilson Memorial Hospital.

Esther was born in Walton on July 14, 1928 the daughter of the late Mac and Lelia (Tuttle) Finch. She was a graduate of Walton High School. On December 3, 1948 she married Erving (Erv) Budine. She was employed for many years as a cashier first at the A & P Store and later at the Walton Big M. Esther enjoyed baking, cooking, and gardening. She loved her grandchildren more than anything else.

Esther is survived by her husband, Erv, daughter, Cathy (Fran) Zujovic, Walton; grandchildren, Ryan (Amy), Hillary (James); one brother, Roland (Sharon) Finch, Walton; a sister, Florence McDonald , Walton; special friends, the Tom Barnhart Family, Phyllis and Bill Banks, and Ellen Woods. She was predeceased by 2 brothers, Richard and Mack Finch.

A graveside service will be held at Walton Cemetery at 11:00 A.M. on Friday April 18, 2008.
