Ethel Marie Bovee, 85, a longtime resident of Walton, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at home.

Ethel was born on February 7, 1932 in Otego, the daughter of the late Clair and Inez (Bogart) Hodges. She married Martin C. Bovee in 1953. He predeceased her on February 2, 1998.

Ethel worked for Eurkea Tent in Walton, then later managed the Townsend Garden Apartments. She enjoyed dancing and beauty pagents.

Ethel is survived by her sons, Martin L. Bovee, and David L. Bovee, both of Phoenix, AZ; grandson, Jacob Bovee, great-grandchildren, Gabrielle and Luke, and great-great granddaughter, Anatasia, and sister, Mabel Miller. She was predeceased by brothers, Arthur, Glen, Paul, Carl, and Eugene Hodges.

Services will be privately at the convenience of the family.
