Evelyn M Armstrong, 82, of Delhi formerly of Walton passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, surrounded by her family

Evelyn was born on April 8, 1936 in Walton, the daughter of the late Roy and Marie (Fullington) Hawver.

Evelyn worked as a Packer for Breakstone's for 25 years before retiring. She enjoyed crocheting hats and mittens for her grandkids. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church.

Evelyn is survived by her loving family, her children, Sonja (Kenneth) Faber of VA; Jeffrey Brooker of Walton; Steven (Sonia) Armstrong of Walton; Tammy Blackman of Delhi; grandchildren, Angela, Jason, Jamie, Steven, Ashley, Tara, Meagan, Kevin, Angel, Matthew, Nicholas, Jared, 27 great grandchildren, sisters, Minnie Whispell of Unadilla; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Charlotte Valentine, Cora Hall, and Dorothy Tompkins Bowers.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 11 AM at the Walton Cemetery, Walton with Pastor Parrish Bridges, officiating.

Memorial Contributions in Evelyn's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
