It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Faye M. Anderson, 86. She passed away peacefully on December 12, 2024. Faye was born July 18, 1938, in Hancock, New York, to her loving parents Donald Van Loon and Dorothy Somers.

Faye Anderson, beloved by many, was the owner of Faye's Foot Apparel, where she found immense joy in helping people. She was known for her warmth and wisdom, especially regarding natural remedies. She found joy in dancing with her sisters and friends, and her compassion will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her son, Tom Anderson; daughters, Tammy Anderson-Kane and Sherrie Peters; granddaughter, Sayla Kane; two great-grandchildren, Araya and Daisy; two sisters, Linda Whitaker and Sherrie Murphy (Bill Scully); her brother, Don Van Loan and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Faye is preceded in death by her Granddaughter, Daisha Kane; her sister Bonnie, her brothers; Douglas, and Ronald and her late husband Craig.

Faye Anderson will be deeply missed but remembered fondly for the love that she spread and the lives that she touched.

In honor of Faye's life, a graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th, 2025, at 10 AM at the Riverview Cemetery, located at 1186 Old Route 17, Hancock, NY 13783. Following the burial, a celebration of life will take place at the Walton Fire Hall, from 12 PM to 3 PM, at 59 West St, Walton, NY 13856. Family and friends are warmly invited to join us in sharing memories, laughter, and refreshments as we celebrate the remarkable life of Faye M. Anderson.
