Faye E. Fitch, 61, a lifelong resident of Pines Brook, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, December 21, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare of Cooperstown. Faye was born on October 28, 1948 in Walton, the daughter of the late Olan C. and Ella (Robinson) Fitch. She was a graduate of Walton Central School. She was employed for many years by Countryside Care Center, Delhi, as a CNA.

Faye was a faithful member of the Pines Brook Baptist Church and its Women's Mission Fellowship Group. She also produced the Church's bulletin for many years. She enjoyed Crochet, camping and her many kittens and cats.

Faye is survived by 2 brothers, Dale Fitch, Walton and Gerald (Anna) Fitch, Sumter, SC, nephews, Gerald and David, niece, Melissa, special friends, Diane Cobane and Lucille Bartlett, and several cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday afternoon, December 23, 2009 at 1 PM at the Pines Brook Baptist Church, Walton, with the Rev. Carl Butler officiating. Burial will be in Walton Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Faye's memory may be made to Pines Brook Baptist Church.
