Francis L. "Dee Dee" Bojo, 76, passed away surrounded by his loving family on November 19, 2025, in Walton, NY.  Born on February 1, 1949, in Fish's Eddy, NY to Lester V. Bojo and Elsie F. Rynearson. On July 5, 1969, Francis married the love of his life, Diana. Their bond was a testament to enduring love until Diana's passing on July 25, 2014.

A devoted father and proud Vietnam veteran, Francis served honorably in the United States Army, embodying the spirit of service and dedication. Francis was a cherished member of his community and a devoted family man. Throughout his life, Francis was a proud member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and an honorable member of the Walton Fire Department, where he dedicated countless hours to serving and protecting his community.

Francis is survived by his loving family his son, Jason (Bette) Bojo, his daughter Tonia Beers, granddaughter Abbie Bojo, brothers; Rolland and Richard Bojo, sisters; Judy Felter, Faye Brock, Ruth Robinson, and Sarah (Gregg) Sherburne, and special friends Jeff (Wendy) Wood and his neighbor Grizz.

Francis was preceded in death by his beloved wife Diana Bojo, his parents Lester and Elsie Bojo, his son Paul Francis, and his brother in-laws; Bryan Felter Sr., Gary Brock, Sr., and F. Tom Robinson, his sister in-law Sally Bojo,  and special friend Bill Beckman.

Francis will be remembered for his service, both in the military and to his community, and for the love he showed to his family and friends. He will be missed dearly by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

As per Francis's wishes there will be no services.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Walton Fire Department in Francis's memory, ensuring that his spirit of service continues to shine.
