Francis L. Zuill went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday March 25th 2014 after a long illness. He was born in Ossining, NY on May 19th 1933. He grew up in Cornwall NY on a farm. In high school he played basketball for coach Fritz Mueller's 1950-1951 winning basketball team. He also set a record at Cornwall High for throwing the Discus. He graduated high school in 1951 and attended one year of college at Delhi Tech. After leaving college he went to work for Crowley's Milk Co. where he spent 20 years. The last 5 years he spent at Crowley's he used his own Mack truck to pick up milk at the individual farms.

In 1969 he met and soon thereafter married Lois C. Billington in Newburgh NY. In January of 1972 they moved to Downsville NY where they owned and operated Zuill's Pharmacy for 22 ½ years. Fran was a school bus driver for Downsville Central School for 20 years and retired in 1994. He was a long standing member of the Downsville Fire Department, served as a Fire Commissioner for 10 years and served on the Colchester town board for 8 years. He was an active member of the C&MA Church and served the Lord faithfully.

Fran enjoyed working outdoors, hunting, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren and watching his favorite westerns on television. He was blessed to have many friends and a family that loved him dearly.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years Lois C. Zuill Downsville NY, his sister Carolyn Cook (husband James) Chadds Ford PA, son Jeffrey Zuill (Thelma, grandson Corey) Bainbridge NY, daughter Deborah Morse (husband Ralph and grandsons Jordan & Austin) Ballston Lake NY, son Jeffrey Billington (wife Joanna and granddaughter Kayla) Los Angeles CA, son Randall Zuill (wife Chris and 2 grandchildren) Davenport NY, and son Richard Billington (wife Joanne and grandson Jack, granddaughter Ellen) Schenectady NY.

Fran was predeceased by his brother Erle Zuill, Cornwall NY and his son Glenn Zuill of Davenport NY.

Friends and family are invited to call on Sunday, March 30, 2014 from 3 to 7PM at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, Main Street, Downsville where services will be held on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 11AM with Rev. Edward Lowell, officiating. Burial will be in the Paige Cemetery in the Spring.
