Frank Roy Beabes, 66, Indiana, PA, died Tuesday, February 23, 2010, at the Indiana Regional Medical Center.

The son of Richard H. and Martha E. Runnells Beabes, he was born March 6, 1943, in Walton, NY.

Mr. Beabes was a 1961 graduate of Walton High School. He attended SUNY Delhi and Rider Universities, afterwhich he served in the Army from 1966-68, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal.

Surviving is his wife Gail (Morley) Beabes; a son, Shane Beabes, Baltimore, MD; two daughters, Dawn Wagner, her husband Joe, and their children Grace and Natalie, Baltimore, MD, Shannon Stepanian, her husband Jon, and their daughter Cailin, Elizabethtown, PA; a brother, Garr Beabes, Rocky Hill, CT; brothers-in-law, William Morley and wife Marie, Lawrence "Broc" Morley and wife Pat, and Henry Morley and his wife Memory, all of Ogdensburg, NY; sister-in-law, Mary Catherine Weathers and husband Alan, Port Orange, FL; and several nieces and nephews.

A private funeral service will be conducted at the convenience of the family at the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton, with interment to follow in the Walton Cemetery.
