Frank J. Benowski 62, of Delhi, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2009 at Bassett Healthcare, Cooperstown, following a short illness.

Frank was born in Sidney on January 25, 1947 the son of the late Frank J. and Frances M. (Franskevicz) Benowski. He was a graduate of Franklin Central School, as valedictorian of his class, and then went on to college in Oneonta on a scholarship. Frank spent his younger days working on the family farm.

Frank is survived by his aunts,

Rose Dow and Anna Mapes, several cousins and his caring family at RSS. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother Joe.

Friends and relatives were invited to call on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11:00AM Wednesday morning, following calling hours, at St. John the Baptist Church, Benton Ave., Walton; with the Rev. Matthew Frisoni, officiating. Burial followed the Mass at Walton Cemetery, Walton.
