Frank J. Zorda, 80, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2016 at home.

Frank was born March 16, 1935 in New Berlin, NY the son of the late Frank and Mary (Bourbon) Zorda, Sr. On March 21, 1977 he married the former Joan Corgill. Frank owned and operated the Walton Motel for 13 years, and later he repaired vacuum cleaners. He loved riding his Harley and driving his convertible. He will be remembered as a good and generous man who enjoyed having coffee with his friends every morning at McDonalds.

Frank is survived by his loving family, his wife, Joan, children, David (Jolie) Zorda of Wells Bridge; Jody (Bill) Biddlecome of North Carolina; Robert (Anita) Zorda of Unadilla; step children, Todd (Cindy) Wier of Norwich; Mark Wier (Matthew Cairns) of NYC; mother in law, Angelica Finch of Walton; daughter in law, Sandra Zorda; brother, Ralph Zorda of Florida; sister, Carmella Nichols of Florida; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Frank Zorda, and his brother, Ronald Zorda.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
