Gabriel M. Sikorski, 22, of Walton, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, June 15, 2017, at home in Walton.

Gabe was born on October 20, 1994, in Walton, the son of Jessica and Aaron Gilmore. He graduated from Sidney Central School, Class of 2013.

Gabe was a pizza maker at Gramma D's in Walton. He attended Northfield Community Church, enjoyed running track, wrestling, camping and working out at the gym. He was also an accomplished singer and guitarist, performing with Alpha Q Band, and Breadyth is Calling.

Gabe is survived by his loving family: his mother and father, Jessica and Aaron Gilmore; birth parents, Michael Sikorski and Lori Sue Tietjen; grandparents, Barbara McKelvey of Walton, and Susan Maines of Florida, Anna Crosby of Sidney, Deana Tietjen of Walton; brothers and sisters, Erik DeLay of Florida; Hannah Schriber (William Donofrio) of Corbett; Christian Sikorski, Ethan Sikorski, Devan Sikorski, Kyle (Taylor)Bourn, all of Walton; in addition to, Michaela Gilmore of Oneonta, Kalieb Gilmore, Conner Gilmore, Skylar Maryon, Christian Gilmore, Nicole Gilmore, all of Walton; aunts, Dana Tietjen Rice and Tammy Barringer, both of Walton; nephews, Greyson DeLay of Florida, Xander Donofrio of Corbett, and his niece, Sophia Brown; special friends, Dan Schriber, Erin Jones, Mary Price and Derek Mead. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Harry Tietjen, and Bill and Gail Gilmore.

Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 19, 2017, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 1:00 o'clock in the afternoon at the New Beginnings Alliance Church, 110 Stockton Avenue, Walton, with Pastor Brett White and Pastor Don Crossman, officiating.
