George C. Cliff, 88, of Walton passed away Sunday, August 4, 2013 at Valley View Manor of Norwich.

George was born on February 1, 1925 in Macedon, NY, the son of the late Norton and Edna (Emery) Cliff. He was employed for many years as a self-employed contractor. Later he worked for Lowes. In his spare time he enjoyed golfing, bowling and was a little league coach for many years.

George is survived by one daughter, Susan and Hazzie Quick of Walton; and two sons: Harold and Shirley Cliff, Las Vegas, NV; and Richard and Abbie Cliff of New Mexico; a sister-in-law, Joyce Cliff of Florida; grand-daughter Rebecca Halstead of Walton, grandsons Travis Cliff of New Mexico and Shaun Cliff of California, three great-grandchildren, Michael, Alison, and Hazzie Halstead of Walton and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by Jean Elizabeth, Joan Isabel, granddaughter, Tammy Quick, brothers, Alton, Milford, and Kenneth, Sisters, Esther Klick, and Grace Phiefer.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in George's memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Association,
