George Whitehead, III, 75, of Trout Creek, NY passed away tragically on Thursday, June 30, 2022 following an accident at his home.

George was born on February 4, 1947 in Patterson, NJ. the son of the Mildred (McMickle) Whitehead and the late George Whitehead II both of New Jersey. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Marines during the Vietnam Era.

George was a mechanical technician for over 30 years. He was a former member of the Lincoln Park N. J. Volunteer Fire Department and the Lincoln Park American Legion Post 279. He enjoyed coaching youth athletic programs. George enjoyed spending time with his family. He also was an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.

Services will be held privately.

George is survived by his loving family. His wife Lisa (Storm) mother, Mildred Whitehead of Trout Creek, NY, brother and sister in law, Walter (Michele) of New Mexico, Scott of Liberty, NY, Wayne of North Carolina. Numerous nieces and nephews including Bobby currently serving in the U. S. Navy. He was predeceased by his brother Robert Whitehead.
