George H. Inman, 87, of Walton passed away early Friday morning, March 5, 2010 at O'Connor Hospital of Delhi. George was born October 10, 1922 in Peeksville, NY, the son of the late James and Mary (Barry) Inman.
He proudly served his country in the Army during World War II, in Algeria, Morocco, the Ardennes, Normandy, Northern France, Sicily and the Rhineland. He was employed for many years as a Linotype operator and printer in Sullivan County. He enjoyed snowmobiling and belonging to the local EMS.
He is survived by a niece, Betty (Louis) Locaso, Downsville, a nephew, Jim O'Dell, North Carolina, also, Dennis and Katie VonAldenbruck - Anthony and Andrea VonAldenbruck of Stuat , Fl. Shari and Peter LoPresti - Nicole and Paul Wiedecker of Baltimore, Md. and many great - great nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Burial will take place in East Branch Cemetery in the Spring.
