George H. Klinger, 77, of Walton passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at home in Walton.

George was born March 25, 1936 in Walton, NY. the son of the late Arthur and Fannie (Graby) Klinger. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army from 1954 to 1957. On September 5, 1954 he married the former Rosalind Newman in Livingston Manor, NY.

George was a Bus Aide for Rolling V in Walton. He enjoyed fishing and hunting in Walton, watching the food channel, a had a love for his homemade jalenpo poppers.

George is survived by his loving family, his wife, Rosalind, his daughter, Karen (James) Moore, his sons, George Klinger, Jr., Bob Klinger, his grandchildren, Jessie, Jeremy and Raymond Jones, George Klinger III, Sabine, Rachel, Maya, his 3 great grandchildren, his brother, Arthur Klinger, his sisters, Ethel Olsen, Virginia Tompkins and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Kim Klinger, his brothers, Henry and Charlie Klinger, and his sister, Gladys MacLaughlin.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
