Gloria May Babcock died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at Broome Development Services in Binghamton where she had been a resident since 1996. She was 82.

The daughter of the late Guerdon and Anna (Roberts) Babcock, she was born August 1, 1930 in Corbett.

She is survived by her loving sisters Germaine (Ronald) Hayden of Downsville and Linda (Roger) Northrup of Walton, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Frederick Babcock her sister, Marley Peck and nieces, Rhonda Hayden and Lori Hayden Bennett.

There will be no calling hours.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 15 at 11AM at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Downsville, the Rev. Michael Shank officiating.

Burial will be in Paige Cemetery in the spring.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.
