Gloria "Betty" Thomson, 83, of Spout Spring, VA passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022, following a long illness.

Betty was born on October 12, 1939 in Andes, NY the daughter of the late Ely and Olive (Bryden) Reynolds. On January 22, 1956 she married Richard K. Thomson. He died on March 16, 2019.

Betty worked along side Richard on a dairy farm for many years. Her last job was a bookkeeper for Dixon's Towing Service in White Sulphur Springs in West Virginia. In her spare time she enjoyed Bowling, Sudoku and Uno.

Betty is survived by her loving family, daughter, Connie Toro and her husband Vladimir of Spout Springs, Virginia, sons, Jeffrey Thomson of White Sulphur Springs, WV; and Allan Thomson and wife Barbara of Spout Springs, VA; Grandchildren, Richard (Rebecca), Jesse (Jamie), Shane (Kayla), Derrek, Payton (Shani), Matthew (Brittany), Ryan (Cara), Amber, Evan, Tara, Great Grandchildren, Waylon, Randi, Darren, Emma, Angel, Aubrey, Maisyn, Tyler, Jaedyn, Tristen, Charlotte, Josephine, Lily, Wesley, Landon, Chase Aubrey, Liam, Scarlett, Heidi, Sterling; brothers and sisters, Tink (Cathy) Reynolds of Walton; Barbara (Ron) Wolmuth of Unadilla; sister-in-laws Patty (Robert) Hunt of Charleston, SC, Donna Thomson Walton NY, brother in law, Junie Stanton, Walton. She was predeceased by her parents, son, Randy Thomson, sister, Patricia Stanton, brother Martin Reynolds.

Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 5PM to 7PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 11AM with Pastor Larry Light, officiating. Burial will follow in the Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Avenue, Walton.
