Grace M. Wayman, 85 formerly of Lower Third Brook, Walton, passed away Wednesday afternoon July 7, 2004 in the Countryside Care Center Delhi, after a long illness.

Mrs. Wayman was born on June 19, 1919 in Hamden, the daughter of the late George and Beulah Maines Fitch. She was married to Clifford Allan Wayman. He died on June 29, 1970.

Mrs. Wayman worked as a housekeeper for many families over the years.

She is survived by a brother Eben Fitch, of Walton, niece and nephew Milton and Verna Fitch of Walton, who took special care of Grace for many years; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by 3 sisters, Vera Bush, Agnes Wood, and Mary Sherman, 3 brothers, Harland, Howard, and Sheldon Fitch.

Funeral services will be held held Friday, July 9, 2004 at 1:00 PM at Walton Cemetery under the direction of Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
