Gregory C. Sprague, 72 of Andes, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2009 after a short illness.

Greg was born in Shavertownon April 16, 1937 the son of the late Truman and Goldie (Sutton) Sprague. He was self employed as a handyman and carpenter. In his spare time Greg enjoyed tinkering with machinery.

Greg is survived by sons, Richard Sprague, Matthew Sprague, both of Voorheesville; daughters, Kathy Schaffer, Arkville; Laurie (Alex) Kernozek, East Berne; sister, Elno Tompkins, Downsville; stepchildren, Brenda and Ray Fehsal, Ivan, Steve, Tina, and Michell Tifft, Anita Blockberger, 15 grandchildren, several step grand and greatgrandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his wife Josie Tifft on June 2, 2008.

In respecting Greg's wishes there will be no services or calling hours. Cremation will take place at Hillington Crematory, Morris.
