Harold L Kelsey, 72 formerly of Conklin, passed away Sunday morning, April 3, 2005 at the Ideal Senior Living Center, Endicott, after a long illness.
Mr. Kelsey was born in Masonville, on September 24, 1932 the son of the late Herbert and Hazel Scott Kelsey. He married Joan Neer on March 2, 1968 at Susquehanna, PA. He faithfully served his country in the Army during the Korean War. Harold was employed as a Foreman by Conrail, Binghamton. Harold loved all things western including books by Louis L'amour and Zane Grey.
Harold is survived by his wife: Joan of Conklin; one daughter Joyce M and Edward Mosley of Johnson City; three sons: Edward P Kelsey of Binghamton; Harold L "Butch" Kelsey II of Port Crane; Brian K. and Susan Kelsey of Scranton, PA; 11 grand children; 4 great-grand children; two sisters, Marguerite "Peg" Buchanan of Susquhanna, PA; and Iva DuMond of Sidney; one brother: Rexford Kelsey of Puxico, Missouri; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was predeceased by a brother, Herbert Kelsey.
A gravesite service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday April 8, 2005 at the Walton Cemetery, under the direction of Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton. Memorial contributions in Harold's memory may be made to Ideal Senior Living Center,
