Harvey I. Stevens 48 of Andes, passed away on Saturday evening, May 24, 2008, in Kingston Hospital, after a long illness.

Harvey was born in Margaretville on July 4, 1959 the son of the late Leonard and Harriet Titch Stevens. He was employed by the Town of Andes.

Harvey loved watching the guppies in his fish tank, roosters, and animals of all kinds.

He is survived by his sisters, Florence Curtis of Walton, Harriett Gardner of Downsville, and Rosemary Gladding of Franklin; brothers, Leonard Stevens Jr. of Poughquag and Timothy Stevens of Walton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday morning, May 29, 2008, at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton. Burial will follow in Afton Cemetery. There are no calling hours.

Harvey's family is appreciative of the fine care provided by Northeast Special Care Center, Lake Katrine and have asked that contributions in his memory be made to them at 300 Grant Ave., Lake Katrine, NY 12449
