Harvey L. Van Buren, 67, of Walton passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Wilson Memorial Hospital surrounded by friends and family.

Harvey graduated from Walton Central School. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Navy on the USS Ajax during the Vietnam War.

Harvey is survived by his son, Matthew of Walton; twin sister Jeanne of Binghamton; and sister Tery (Bruce) Dolph of Walton; 7 nephews, many aunts, uncles, cousins, special friends, Paul, Sim, Chris, Melissa and Hazel Jane.

At Harvey's request there will be no services. Interment will be in the family plot at Walton Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of the Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
