Helen G. Rockefeller, 79 of Franklin, passed away Tuesday morning, June 23, 2009 in Delaware Valley Hospital, Walton.

Helen was born in Archibald, Pennsylvania on September 22, 1929 the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel (Hanstein) Black. On June 24, 1954 she married Henry Rockefeller Jr. He died on October 9, 2008. Helen loved taking care of her children and grandchildren. She also loved her dogs.

Helen is survived by two sons: Craig Rockefeller and Mark Rockefeller both of Walton, 3 grandchildren, Michael, Chad and Erika Rockefeller, 3 sisters, Esther Bass of Hancock, NY, Barbara Black and Anna Black both of Starlight, Pennsylvania; Brother and sister In Laws, Tom (Hazel) Rockefeller of Unionville, VA; Mabel (Don) Ronk of Fishes Eddy, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Helen was predeceased by 2 brothers, Walter and Emerson Black.
