Obituary

Henry Rockefeller Jr 77 of Franklin, passed away on Thursday evening, October 9, 2008, at A.O. Fox Hospital, after a long illness.

Henry was born in Cannonsville on March 10, 1931 the son of the late Henry and Mabel (Porter) Rockefeller Sr. He proudly served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Army. He worked for many years as a steamfitter at Bendix Corp. Sidney.

Henry was a former member of the Lakewood, PA VFW, past member and chief steward of Local 1529 of the Aerospace Workers, and the Lakewood Fire Dept. In his younger days he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also a family man who enjoyed his home life.

Henry is survived by his wife, Helen, 2 sons, Craig Rockefeller, and Mark Rockefeller, both of Walton; 3 grandchildren, Michael, Chad, and Erika, a brother, Tom (Hazel) Rockefeller, Unionville, Virginia; a sister, Mabel (Don) Ronk, Fishes Eddy, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by 2 sisters, Lillian Smith, and Marion Ewain.

Burial will be at Bovina Cemetery privately at the convenience of the family.
