Isabelle J. Beers, 90, of Walton passed away Monday, November 19, 2018 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.

Isabelle was born on March 14, 1928 in Rock Rift, the daughter of the late Guy and Elinor (Tuttle) Wood. On November 21, 1969 she married Orrin W. Beers in Hartwick, New York. He died on May 9, 2001.Isabelle was employed at Breakstones for 23 years. She enjoyed reading, ceramics and cooking to feed all her friends and family.

Isabelle is survived by her children, Molly Darville of Walton; John and Ann Beers of Schoharie; stepchildren, David Beers, Downsville, Dennis and Marie Beers, Granchildren; Mark (Brenda); Michael (Beth); Eric (Peggy); great grandchildren, Steven-Mark, Alyssa, Charla (Nathan), Joey; sisters, Beverly Stanton and Polly Stevens, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her sons, Joseph Beers and Thomas Travis, brothers, Alfred Hennings, Jr., Walter Wood, and sister, Margaret Wood.

Services for Isabelle will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 11:00AM in Walton Cemetery, 55 Fancher Ave, Walton. Arrangements are with Courtney Funeral Home, Walton.
