Obituary

Issac W. "Bob" Finkle, 84 of Walton, passed away Friday morning, March 10, 2006 at home following a long illness.

Bob was born on November 17, 1921 in Windham, the son of the late Robert and Cora Place Finkle. He married the former Maude Eva Titch. She died in 2001. He proudly served his country in the Air Force from November 2,1939 to November 1, 1964. While serving in the military he traveled all over the world. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, WW-II Victory Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award, Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters, Good Conduct Medal, American Defense Ribbon, and the American Theatre Ribbon. Upon retirement as a M-Sgt from the Air Force, he was Manager of the National Bank of Delaware County, Andes branch. Bob was active in the American Legion and a member of the Masonic Lodge since 1963. He was also a member of the Andes Grange for many years.

Bob is survived by 1 daughter: Debra Finkle-Stanton and husband Kevin.of Walton;

2 sons, William"Bob" Finkle and wife Ana of Middletown; and Theodore Finkle of Andes;

7 grandchildren, Justin and Brandon Stanton; Nicholas, Sasha, Matthew, Jennifer and Theodore Finkle.

A private service will be held at the Clark, Winter & Courtney Funeral Home, Walton, at the convienience of the family.

A graveside service will be held in Shavertown Cemetery in the spring.
