J.C. Mahler, 38, passed away unexpectedly on September 11, 2020.

J.C. was born on March 9, 1982 in Brooklyn, New York he was the son of Cathy Farrell and Manny Somoano.

He was a member of the Local 8 Roofers Union at the time of his passing. J.C. will be remembered as an extremely hard worker, lifelong New York Yankees fan, avid foodie, and loving father to Julian and Maximus.

J.C. Is survived by a very large family including his two sons, Julian and Maximus; his mother, Cathy Farrell; his father, Manny Somoano; his step-father, Daniel Farrell; his siblings, Sandie Farrell, Daniel Farrell, Kelli Farrell, Nicholas Farrell, John Mahler, William Farrell, Shannon Farrell, Haley Farrell, Megan Earl, David Glassco-Somoano, Anthony Somoano, and Joshua Somoano; he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many close friends.

Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited to attend will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton.
