Obituary

Jean E. Finch was born September 11, 1927, in Doraville, NY of Leland and Estella Rowe and passed away September 1, 2024, in Moses Lake, WA after a five month illness.

She was predeceased by her husband Richard Finch and her brother Donald Rowe.

She is survived by her sister Marian Rowe, son and daughter-in-law Charles and Grace Finch of Warden, WA, daughter and son-in-law Roseann and William Bluler of Raleigh, NC, four granddaughters Deborah Hawkins, Teresa Priest, Mandy Finch, and Jessie Bell, plus six great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.

She and her husband of 68 years were residents of Town of Colesville, NY for 53 years where she was active in many community organizations including the Colesville Emergency Squad, American Legion Auxiliary, and others. She was proud of her precise and diligent work as bookkeeper for 24 years as she supported her husband's terms as Supervisor of Town of Colesville. In 2004 they moved to Warden, WA to share time with their son's family and farming experiences.  Her greatest joy was being able to be involved with raising her great-granddaughter, Sheyenne.

A grave side memorial service will be held on October 13, 2024, at 1:00 PM in the Carroll Cemetery, Trout Creek, NY.    After the service, please stop at the Trout Creek Community Church for a luncheon.
