Jodi Ann Allen, 51, of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at her home.

Jodi was born on September 14, 1962 in Hancock; the daughter of Malcolm and Sandra Biedekapp. She was employed as a Special Needs Aide at BOCES on the Robert Harold Campus in Masonville.

Jodi enjoyed taking care of her family and was a devoted wife and mother. Her familiar voice could be heard yelling words of encouragement at her childrens sports games. Jodi enjoyed decorating her country home, she had that natural ability to make things look nice and homey. She would often get caught dancing in the kitchen to her old time rock and roll music with her husband. Jodi loved living her farm life: farrowing pigs and watching them grow. She enjoyed camping with her family and taking country cruises with her husband and friends.

Jodi is survived by her loving family, her husband, Brian, her father, Malcolm Biedekapp (Alabama), her children, Samantha Geer and Dakota Allen, her grandmother, Dutchie Wheeler (Ohio), her brother, Terry (Aimee) Biedekapp (Dexter) and their children, Matthew and Katie (Syracuse), nephews Jace and Jory Biedekapp (Brownville), "special seester" Tammy Biedekapp, her brother-in-laws, Michael (Del) Allen, Ted (Pam) Gladstone and their children, Philip and Brandon, her sister-in-law, Denise Allen, her mother in law, Mareah Allen, her aunts, Jennie Biedekapp-Smith, Maggie Biedekapp and her children Karl and Erica, Sue Dodd and family (Ohio), her uncles, Tom (Barbara-Ann) Biedekapp (Pennsylvania) and their children, Jason and Adam, and David DeKapp (Oregon), "special sons" Justin and Dexter. Jodi also leaves behind her BOCES family: friends & children. Also all those who have touched her heart. She was predeceased by her grandparents, Fred and Phemie Biedekapp, Glenn Wheeler (Ohio), her mother, Sandra Biedekapp, her brothers, Barry and Brent Biedekapp, her father in law, Richard Allen.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at 1PM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend Street, Walton with the Rev. Bert More, officiating.
