Joe Campana 79, of Downsville, passed away at the Roscoe Nursing Home, following a long illness.

Joe was born on April 18, 1931 in Closter, NJ; the son of the late Oreste and Elizabeth (Duliy) Campana. He was educated in Tenafly schools. Joe was self employed as a building contractor.

Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, refinishing furniture, gardening and watching movies.

Joe is survived by a brother, Douglas (Pam) Campana; a sister, Laura Campana; special friend, Sandy Elmore; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at Paige Cemetery on Monday, June 28, 2010 at 11 AM with the Rev. R.L. Donahue, officiating.
