Obituary

John C. Cusimano, 67, of Walton passed away Wednesday morning, April 27, 2011 at Wilson Memorial Hospital of Johnson City.

John was born on February 4, 1944 in Brooklyn, the son of the late Benjamin and Pauline (Prestigiacomo) Cusimano. On September 28, 1985 he married the former Lois Vogel on Long Island. John and Lois founded the Christian Companion Center of the King of Glory Ministries in Walton. John as a member of the K of C, and the Walton Ministerial Association.

John was known for his love and care of all people and his ministry of feeding the needy.

John is survived by his loving family, his wife: Lois, 5 children, Mary Ann (Michael) Fairbrother, Islip; Gigi Cusimano, Copaigue, Brian (Joanna) Ross, Warwick, NY; Carolyne (Graydon) Dutcher, Walton; Jonathan Cusimano, Walton; grandchildren, Anthony, Ransom, Violet, Maxwell, and Brianna; brothers, Frank Ellis, Brooklyn; Charles Ellis, North Carolina; Philip (Joanne) Ellis, Florida; a sister, Missy Ellis, Brooklyn, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends and relatives are invited to call at the Christian Companion Center, 151 Delaware St., Walton on Friday evening, April 29, 2011 from 6 to 8 PM where services will be held at 8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to King of Glory Ministries, Christian Companion Center, 151 Delaware St. Walton, NY 13856.
