John R. DuMond of Walton passed away quietly at home Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the age of 82.

John is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Arletta (Beers) DuMond; brother Roy and wife, Mary; sisters Cora and Rita; children Fred (Terri) DuMond, Delhi; Cathy (Chuck) Wagner, Gresham, Oregon; 5 grandchildren, Maureen, Katrina, Jason, Travis and April; 1 great granddaughter, Chloe; favorite niece, Maureen and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

John was a truck driver for 30 years at Breakstones, a prominent member of the community, and a veteran of WW-II serving in the US Army.

Services will be held at 11 AM on Thursday morning, October 9, 2008 at the Plymouth Community Church with Pastor Tom Davis, officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held immediately following in the Fellowship Hall.
