John Pollack 66 of Walton passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at home following a long illness.

John was born in Poughkeepsie on May 4, 1944 the son of the late Stephen and Anna Butler Pollack. He was a graduate of Roy C. Ketcham High School, Class of 1964. He entered the US Navy following high school and served as Yeoman in Viet Nam. He worked for the US Postal Service for a number of years and later at Vassar College and later was self employed as a landscaper in the Walton area. John was an avid golfer, in which he was very good at and enjoyed the competition.

Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday morning, April 25, 2011 from 10 to 11 AM at the Courtney Funeral Home, 25 Townsend St., Walton where services will be held at 11 AM. Burial in the family plot will follow cremation at Hopewell Rural Cemetery, Hopewell Junction, NY.
